A beautiful new home right on the beachfront on the West Sussex coast deserves a well designed garden so when we were asked to design the planting around this stunning property, we were all in.
With several areas to include and to provide 360 degree planting, a common theme was needed. Careful consideration was given to the materials used in the building of a spacious and modern home to give some aesthetic beauty and privacy without hindering the lines or the enviable view from the rear balconies.
Spaces to relax privately, areas for family activities, access to culinary herbs and importantly, the provision of wild flower areas through the season to attract bees and insects were all part of our brief.
Low maintenance gardening for a busy family with commitments abroad was imperative without compromising on a cohesive colour palette, textural layers and the addition of beautifully designed planters for the courtyard and balconies.
It’s been a long project for our clients, it’s not easy living in a building site but the end is in sight and with a stunning garden to finish things off, it will be the beach house of dreams.
